Detection and identification of genetic material from seven fungi of the genus Candida: Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, Candida tropicalis, Candida parapsilosis, Candida krusei, Candida lusitaniae, Candida dubliniensis
Molecular testing (Real-Time PCR) is highly sensitive and specific, enabling the detection of infection even at an early stage. This allows for rapid treatment and avoids dangerous health complications.

Information about the test result
Test completion time: up to 7 working days from the date of delivery of the material to the laboratory. How do I calculate when the result will be ready?
The waiting time for laboratory test results is specified in working days, which means that Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not included. This time starts on the day the sample is delivered to the laboratory.
Example: If the sample arrives at the laboratory on Wednesday and there are no public holidays during the week, the result will be ready for collection by the following Friday at the latest.
Will I wait exactly the number of working days specified above?
The time specified is the maximum time. It is possible that the result will be ready for collection earlier. We will notify you of the availability of the result by e-mail.
Factors beyond the control of the genXone laboratory may affect the waiting time. In such situations, the patient will be informed of the extended waiting time.
How can I collect my result?
Results are collected online via the platform wyniki.genxone.eu platform.
Can I receive the results in another language?
Our laboratory documentation is in Polish, which is why we issue results in that language. If you need documentation in another language, we recommend contacting a certified translator.
