Bioinformatic Specialist

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • performing bioinformatics analysis of data derived from high-throughput nucleic acid sequencing techniques,
  • developing scripts to automate the processing of NGS-derived data,
  • actively participate in research projects and client services performed in the R&D department.

What we expect:

  • higher education,  preferred: bioinformatics,
  • experience in analysis of next generation sequencing data (in particular, issues related to genome assembly, functional annotation, gene expression estimation and differential expression analysis),
  • knowledge of statistics,
  • very good knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. bash, Python or R,
  • knowledge of GNU/Linux environments,
  • knowledge of English, allowing you to communicate freely,
  • communication skills and an aptitude for teamwork.
