Recent events summary

Summary of recent events:

  1. Our R&D Laboratory as a part of the SARS-CoV-2 sequencing project has confirmed the presence of the British strain of coronavirus in Poland. The sample was provided to us as a part of cooperation with our partner – Diagnostyka sp.z o.o. The pool of genetic material sequenced in this phase of the project included around 100 samples from all over the country with confirmed presence of the coronavirus. The sequencing result has been reported to the international GISAID database. The news was released in the form of a press release and via twitter. It met with nationwide media attention.
  1. The Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory has exceeded the number of 90 thousands performed tests.
  1. The main goal of the coronavirus sequencing proejct is to create a tool to monitor the course of the pandemic. Therefore we are happy to announce we have established a contract with WSSE olsztyn to conduct a sequencing pilot project. This is a milestone for the project.
  1. The Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory offer has been extended with antigen tests. It is a response to the client’s requests. Soon, an English result of the test will be also available.
  1. We’ve started the second round of recruiting volunteers in the Nanobiome project. We invite healthy, adult people to participate in the research project.
