It was confirmed that we got the ONT certification, which allows for commercial performance of nanopore sequencing services. This is the confirmation coming from Oxford Nanopore Technologies that genXone services are of a good quality, and its quantity corresponds to the capabilities of our devices. genXone is the only service provider in Poland. The first certificate was awarded to us in 2018. In order to obtain it, it is necessary to successfully pass the external laboratory control.

Numerous extra laboratory controls have always taken place and will always take place at the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory. As an NZOZ, we have to undergo such checks periodically. Their positive result is a guarantee of the reliability of the results issued by the laboratory. The quality of tests performed in medical laboratories is of great importance. Participation in the external quality assessment program allows us to evaluate the performance of out laboratory’s tests against other European entities (and non-european as well) using the same research methods.
